Tools We Use at Almost Passive Income

If you want to see what it takes to run a 7-figure business, you are in the right place.

This post is all about the tools and softwares we use to promote and deliver products at Stand Up Conversions and Almost Passive Income. These are the boring-but-important parts that make an online business run smoothy.

You may be tempted to think that these aren’t important when just starting out…

Following the “fastest path to cash” may make you $100s-1000s of dollars today…

But if you don’t set these up correctly… or ignore them completely… you’ll be leaving $10K’s to $100K’s PER month on the table. With that, let’s take a look at a handful of the tools that bring us tens of thousands of dollars of profit every month.

The heart of our business is email marketing. Which is why we teach people to start with email when starting a business.

Along the way we’ve tested half a dozen email softwares: AWeber, MailChimp, Klaviyo, InfusionSoft, Drip and a few others. The best we’ve found by far is ActiveCampaign. Their deliverability is among the best ever and the customization is incredible.

We haven’t even tapped into 40% of ActiveCampaign’s full power… And that includes custom sequences, trigger emails, and some other stuff that I can’t talk about (unless you join the Email Game Changers Mastermind).

We have a love-hate relationship with ClickFunnels. Love it because it powers 95% of our sales, membership areas, and sites. But hate it because they are slow to fix problems and the platform can be glitchy AF.

But if you wanna see what we DO vs. what we SAY… we’ve been building on ClickFunnels since 2015. Every platform has its downsides. ClickFunnels just happens to be the one that sucks the least. And you can’t beat how fast you can whip up a funnel to test new offers.

If you want to scale any online business, you need to be able to profitably buy new, cold customers. One of the best ways we’ve done that is through quizzes. Here’s why… you can segment leads SUPER easily (they do it for you) and you can offer the exact solution these leads need depending on their situation.

Sending Facebook traffic to a quiz is what allowed us to acquire leads for $5 that were worth $8.28 by day 30 and $15.06 by day 60. I may not be a mathamagician like Cant Gardone… but you can build a business on numbers like those.

Text messages have the highest open rates on the planet. Plus building an email list and a text messaging list is great for sales. More channels = more sales. We use this software to send out updates and choose your own adventure sequences. Works great for driving consumption of your products via text messages and for ascending people to the next level.

You gotta try this out if you’re running video ads of any kind. Splasheo puts in those hard-coded subtitles for anyone scrolling on mobile without headphones. If you’ve ever watched when people scroll on Facebook or Instagram at Starbucks, they don’t have their sound on.

You’ll boost your CTR and get more video views just from adding hard-coded subtitles (by 300% according to Splasheo).  On top of doing that, their turnaround time is SUPER fast and it took a ton of work off our video guy’s plate. Best of all, our media buyers can get creative assets even faster. Win-win-win.

Any time we need transcripts added to our products or webinars, we go to Rev. They are lightning fast and affordable. All you need is a video file or a link to a YouTube video. Then you can add a transcript to your member’s area for even faster & easier consumption for your customers. More consumption = better results = happier customers. Happy customers buy more often too.

Plus, you can do some serious content amplification with Rev. Just take a killer video or webinar you’ve done, get a transcription made, and turn it into a blog post (or a series of blog posts). This is one of the easiest ways to build a mountain of content fast.
